About Julian David
Julian David is an independent music producer, recording engineer, and microphone geek. A native German, he lived and worked in Los Angeles for several years. Here, he cut his teeth as a studio engineer and developing ribbon microphones. In 2014, he said goodbye to California to build his own studio in the former EMI Records complex in Cologne, Germany. He currently splits his time making records and creating and managing content for Townsend Labs and their Sphere Microphone Modeling technology.
